"-Collecting stuff; toys, clothes, souvenirs, has always been a part of my life.

I think that is always in the back of my head when I create. Does this piece want to be collected in the sense that it holds almost a childish shine to it?

For this series I have created 25 unique toy cars in stoneware. On their own they could be considered art but placing them in a box and branding them blurs that line, it makes the consumable.

I love playing with this idea of creating a context that alters the value of the piece of art. It seals it in time and puts agency in the consumer." - Truls Mårtensson
